Joanne runs a personal business development company www.makingnowcount.co.uk and wanted some headshots for her website,
this shoot was done at my home in Thorpe and in the village. We had good fun and literally stopped traffic! especially as Joanne had told me that she hated having her photo taken, after she had to admit that she actually enjoyed, and I think you can see that in the images.
There has been an exiting change to Toni Ward Photography, I now have a viewing gallery. After every shoot clients can now come to me to see a premier of their images on a large screen, we have a slide show set to music (which most Mum’s and some Dad’s say makes them want to cry, when they see their little ones, ahhh, that makes me want to cry a bit)
It is a great chance to really see what the possibilities are with their photo’s, it’s no good having all of these great photos and then not knowing what to do with them. I have examples of my work hanging on the walls and a fantastic new software that allows me to build one or a number of images in to one frame and show clients on a large screen exactly what it will look like in actual size. This has been a great move forward and the results have been even happier clients, getting the most out of their photo shoots.

Jenna contacted me as she had seen the skin on skin shots on my website and wanted something similar with herself, Husband and son Daniel. What a beautiful little boy Daniel is and the perfect age for these kind of shots, he has the most amazing blue eyes( just like his Mum ) as you will see. Just adorable.

Carol, her two sisters and brother had this photography shoot as surprise for their Dad’s birthday. Ten years ago they had a portrait taken of them and thought it was about time that they had an updated version, only this time around two of them have married and had have two children, and they are also now both pregnant with their second children at the same time!
So this time we had little Max and Olivia to include, it’s always really nice knowing that the end product is going to be a surprise gift, because you know that it is going to be some treasured and looked at continually.
For this photography shoot we had three generations of the same family and as most of them are gardeners it’s no surprise that we went savill Garden in Windsor great park, a really great and loving family which I think really shows through in the images. This shoot was a birthday present from Suzanne and her sister to their Mum who was thrilled, they all enjoyed the shoot and have chosen some really great images to hang in their homes that we now be treasured for years to come.

I just had to include this shoot here, this is Mia, she is six (only just) and I had so much fun following her around, we played with the dog, on the climbing frame, hide and seek, running, handstands(well I just watched that part actually!!) If only I still had that much energy…anyway the result is a wonderful collection of images that will go some way to showing just how bright and happy and beautiful Mia is.
Three children in this shoot, and all under 5!! They are cousins Georgia, Lucia and Olivia. We had fun watching them play, and keeping up with them was definitely a task, they are all so sweet together, and I am sure they will all treasure this collection of photos when they are all grown up.Priceless.
My little subject for this shoot lives literally a stones throw away. Isabella’s parents are both teachers at the American school situated in my village, and apart from the odd student wandering through the village, you wouldn’t know that there are 600 students attending this school. It was nice to meet someone from behind the scenes and find a out little more about the school.
At just six weeks old she is, as you will see a real cutie and even gave a smile, I am relieved to say I caught it, as quite often babies will wait until your camera is zipped up in your bag before they give you a grin! It was a lovely sunny morning and we also got a few shots outside, with the proud Mum and Dad and the very beautiful Isabella.
The thing I find most enjoyable abut this job, is when I come back to photograph a baby or child. Of course we are all aware that children are constantly growing and changing, and parents are always shocked by how fast it seems to be happening, but it is a real pleasure when like this shoot with Scarlett, I have returned to photograph her, and she is now sitting all by her self, and in that wonderful stage between baby and toddler. It is nothing less than remarkable the changes that happen in a baby’s first year.
She has changed so much since her newborn shoot and as you will see is adorable and so much fun.
This shoot in Esher Surrey had a few surprises, Janet and Ray have rescued a variety of owls! I apologise that I can’t remember the breeds, but I do know the white one is twinkle. It was a real treat to see these beautiful creatures up close, and although I had come to photograph the children, I could not resist taking a few shots of the owls.
This is not to say that children were not the main attraction, baby Chole and her adorable brother Scott were both angels, and Scott is just so proud of his new baby sister, that if he is not kissing her, he is showing how well he can hold her.
